Target periods allow you to manage the recommended time frame for obtaining a service. The period is based on the birth date of the patient and is often used for children's vaccination schedules.


Target and off-target period

  1. In the Settings Menu, Services tab, click on the pencil icon and select Specific Properties.
  2. Determine the target period:
    • Delay before target is the recommended number of days before the child's birth date that the vaccine can be obtained.

      Ex: 0 days: No time slots prior to the child's birth date will be displayed. 

      Ex : 5 days : The time slots that are available 5 days before the child's birth date will be displayed.

    • Delay after target is the recommended number of days after the child's date of birth in which to obtain the vaccine.

      Ex: 0 days: No time slots following the child's date of birth will be displayed. 

      Ex: 10 days: Time slots that are available 7 days after the child's birth date will be displayed.

  3. Determine the off-target period:
    • Delay before target period is the number of days off target allowed before the target period.   

      Ex: 0 days: No non-target time slots will be displayed. 

      Ex : 5 days : The time slots that are available 5 days before the target period will be displayed.

    • Delay after target period is the number of days off target tolerated after the target period.   

      Ex: 0 days: No non-target time slots will be displayed.

      Ex : 7 days : The time slots that are available 7 days after the target period will be displayed.

  4. Click on Save.
