The best way to create a typical day is to create it in the past because no appointments can be made and you can then clone this day in the future. (For more information on the clone function, click here)

Examples of typical days

Here are different examples of possible schedules for a typical day:

  1. Exemple #1

This is a typical schedule from 7am to 3pm (for example)

  2. Exemple #2

This is a fragmented example where several time blocks are on the schedule. Fragmentation can be useful to respect lunch hours or breaks.

  3. Exemple #3

Your day contains time slots that vary in traffic throughout the day.

  4. Exemple #4

Your day contains 350 appointment slots. To make it easier to manage, create an availability schedule for about 200 appointments with your first team resource, and then create the balance of the time slots by associating them with the second team resource. Your schedule will thus be on two columns.

  5. Exemple #5

Your day contains 480 appointment slots. To make it easier to manage, create an availability schedule for about 200 appointments with your first team resource. Next, create an availability schedule for approximately 200 appointments with your 2nd team resource. Finally, create the balance of time slots by associating them with the 3rd team resource. Your schedule will thus have three columns.

Be sure to create time slots that divide by the duration of your service or you will end up with availability that cannot be used.
