This information document, reserved for health care institutions, explains in detail the steps a citizen must take to open his or her Clic Health account, as well as the different sections of the account that are accessible to him or her. A health care institution cannot open an account for citizens or have access to the information entered in it. |

Creating a Clic Health account (for citizens only)
- The Clic Health account is easily accessible. On the www.clicsante.ca portal, the citizen will find in the navigation bar a quick access to register or connect to his account.
- They will automatically be directed to the Clic Santé account home page:
There are two ways for citizens to open a Clic Health account. Let's take a closer look at these two possibilities.
Create an account with a health insurance number (3 steps)
Step #1
- The citizen selects Create an account.
- He enters :
- his first name
- his last name
- his health insurance number
- Then, he clicks on next.
Step #2
- The citizen completes:
- his email
- his cell phone number
- This information will be the citizen's identifier the next time he/she logs in.
- He enters a password and confirms it. When entering the password, a display will show the different characteristics that the password must have.
- Then he/she presses the next button.
Step #3
- The citizen validates his account.
- A unique 6-digit validation code will be sent by email or cell phone
- He enters this code, then clicks on Validate.
Congratulations!
The account has been successfully created.
The citizen can make a new appointment while logged in and enjoy the benefits of the account.
Creating an account without a health insurance number (4 steps)
Step #1
- The citizen selects Create an account.
- He enters :
- his first name
- his last name
- and check I do not have a health insurance number.
Then, click on Next.
Step #2
The citizen fills in the various fields requested:
- Genre
- Date of birth
- Mother's first name
- Mother's last name
- Father's first name
- Father's last name
Then, click on Next.
Step #3
- The citizen completes:
- his email
- his cell phone number
- This information will be the citizen's identifier the next time he/she logs in.
- He enters a password and confirms it. When entering the password, a display will show the different characteristics that the password must have.
- Then he/she presses the next button.
Step #3
- The citizen validates his account.
