In this document, you'll find all the information you need about the launch of the Clic Santé portal (www.clicsante.ca). You will discover an optimized search experience for the various services offered to the population.  

 

Updated with the following features:

  • Visual adaptation and addition of information capsules;
  • Search path by service with improved search filters;
  • Information pages for each available service;


Search filters will be displayed at the appropriate time to enable a more efficient search. When booking an appointment, it will also be possible to choose to "use your current location" to find the best appointment close to your geographical location.

Identifying my service

The search bar is the ideal way to find a specific service.


How do I identify my service on clicsante.ca? 

The name of the original service can be found in the General Settings menu of your service. This name corresponds to the keywords that can be entered in the search bar to refine the search. The original service will also be linked to a service page (categories) where a detailed description is available.

Two ways to find an appointment

There are two ways to search for an appointment.

  1. Via the search bar: Perform an optimized search using keywords.
  2. By viewing the services offered in the available categories: You can search by category to find the right appointment. An information page will be displayed to confirm your choice of service. 

When searching for a service using the categories, the service information page is important:

  • It corresponds to the location of the original service name;

  • Provides complete information on the nature of the service;

  • It confirms the choice of a service for booking;

  • It enables an efficient search for a specific service.


Search bar: Book an appointment

  1. Visit the search engine: www.clicsante.ca. In the search bar, enter a service (e.g. Vaccination).
  2. Select the Flu vaccination service (example).
  3. Enter a zip code and click on Search. You can also use the "Use my current location" feature.
  4. Select the health center where you would like to book an appointment by clicking on 'Book appt'.
  5. When searching for an appointment, several filters are available to refine the search.
  6. Select the date, then the desired time. Click on Continue.
  7. Please complete the appointment booking. Once you have completed the fields, click on "Submit".
  8. The Clic Santé appointment has just been booked. Appointment instructions will be available following the appointment details.

Discover categories: Book an appointment

  1. Visit the search engine: www.clicsante.ca. From the home page, select "View all categories", from the Discover services section or from the toolbar.
  2. Select the Vaccination category (example).
  3. Select the "Flu vaccination" service.
  4. The information page for this service will be displayed. This page contains important information about the service.
  5. Enter a zip code and click on "Find your appointment". You can also use the "Use my current position" feature.
  6. Select the health center where you would like to book an appointment by clicking on 'Book appt'.
  7. When searching for an appointment, several filters are available to refine the search.
  8. Select the date, then the desired time. Click on Continue.
  9. Please complete the appointment booking. Once you have completed the fields, click on "Submit".
  10. The Clic Santé appointment has just been booked. Appointment instructions will be available following the appointment details.

Tips for citizens

There are several ways to book an appointment:

  • By searching for a service via the search bar;
  • By searching for a service via the service categories;
  • By adding a facility via the favorite locations in their citizen account.
